  • Q. When do you do recruiting?

    Recruiting is an ongoing process that never really stops, but our specific calendar of recruiting activities is: For new graduates we normally conduct interviews and hire twice a year. The first time happens during May & June and our second annual recruiting drive is in November & December. For shop workers we hire year round based on the needs of the factories and the Technical Education Center. For experience candidates we also hire year round based on the needs of the company.

  • Q. What is you look for in a potential employee?

    We have a few broad criteria such as: is the candidate’s major suitable, how much experience do they have, can they communicate effectively and will they be suitable with the Doosan Vina culture.

  • Q. How long does it take to receive an answer after an interview?

    We normally inform the successful candidates within a week.

  • Q. What are the top priorities when you are recruiting?

    First we look for education that suits our needs, communication ability and experience is always a valuable asset for a candidate to have.

  • Q. What does the interview process involve?

    We give all prospective employees an English test, an IQ test and conduct personal interviews with each individual.

  • Q. How much annual salary can I expect?

    Our compensation system is performance based and salary is negotiable depending on experience, education background, skills and abilities.

  • Q. Can you describe the employment procedure?

    Our normal hiring process begins with a needs assessment followed by -> development of a recruitment plan -> placement of recruitment announcements -> receiving and screening of CV’s -> interviewing-> employment negotiations -> processing approval of an agenda to hire -> health checking -> orientation -> placement.

  • Q. What qualifies someone to work at Doosan?

    In addition to having suitable education, skills or experience they need to speak some English or Korean, have a positive attitude be a team player and be willing to learn.

  • Q. Where do you normally conduct interviews?

    We have several places that we hold interviews. In addition to interviewing here at our offices in Dung Quat we also meet candidates in: Da Nang, Da Lat, HCM and Ha Noi.

  • Q. What degrees, diplomas or experience do applicants need?

    Our first and foremost need is for mechanical engineers followed by people with a background in: electrical, welding, safety, environmental, IT, Korean and/or English language skills, import/export, business administration and other fields that are related to our business and needs.
